The Keito Zapier integration is live. Connect Keito to the apps you already use and build workflows for time entries, client intake, invoice updates, and billing.

Integration Guides

Today, 24 September 2026, the Keito integration is live in Zapier’s App Directory. You can connect Keito to the apps your team already uses and build automations around tracked time, client records, projects, expenses, and invoices, without writing API code.

Keito launched on Zapier with version 1.0.18. Updated 16 October 2026: the promoted public integration is now version 1.7.0, with 7 triggers, 11 actions, and 5 searches, plus Find or Create flows. The steps reference covers the current fields and permissions.

What can you automate?

Start a Zap when Keito records a new client, contact, project, time entry, expense, or invoice, or when an invoice changes. Use Keito actions to create clients and contacts, set up projects from scratch or a saved template, create project tasks, set task budgets, log time and expenses, create draft invoices and estimates, or send an invoice by email. Searches find clients, contacts, projects, tasks, and invoices so later steps use the right record.

Some useful starting points:

  • Keep the team informed: Post a Slack message when someone logs time on a project.
  • Bring intake into Keito: Find an existing client from a form response, or create one when needed.
  • Review billing before sending: Create a draft invoice from approved source data, check its line items, then send it to the client after an approval step.
  • Track invoice state: Add invoice updates to a spreadsheet, filtering for the state your finance team cares about.

These workflows are examples you build in Zapier; they are not switched on automatically. The invoice send step sends a real email, so test it with a safe recipient first.

How to get started

  1. Open Keito on Zapier and select Keito in a new Zap.
  2. Connect with an active Keito workspace account. Each step follows that user’s Keito permissions. The connection uses Keito sign-in, so you do not need an API key.
  3. Choose a Keito trigger, search, or action. Map fields from the preceding step, then run Zapier’s test.
  4. Add a Filter or approval step where the workflow could create billable data or send an email.
  5. Publish the Zap and inspect its first run in Zap history.

Keito triggers check for changes on Zapier’s polling schedule. The timing depends on your Zapier plan, so allow for a short delay between a change in Keito and the next Zap run.

For every available step, field requirements, detailed examples, and troubleshooting, read the Keito and Zapier setup guide.

Use Keito from your AI assistant

Keito also has a public Zapier MCP listing. Choose Keito actions in Zapier MCP, connect your Keito account, and connect your assistant using Zapier’s setup instructions. Zapier hosts the connection; your Keito permissions and Zapier’s usage limits apply.

For Keito’s own hosted server and its supported tools, see Keito MCP connectors.

We’re pleased to make Keito part of the workflows teams already run. If you have a use case the current public steps do not cover, tell us what you’re building.
